Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus

Samsung baru saja menginformasikan tentang smartphone terbarunya yaitu Samsung Galaxy S Plus yang ditargetkan untuk dipasarkan mulai dari Rusia. Ponsel ini akan dipasarkan sebagai edisi Galaxy S 2011 di pasar Rusia tetapi juga akan tersedia untuk pasar lain sebagai Galaxy S Plus. Ponsel Galaxy S Plus baru ini menawarkan prosesor Snapdragon kecepatan 1.4GHz oleh Qualcomm. MSM8255T Qualcomm yang digunakan dalam Samsung Galaxy S Plus tidak hanya merupakan single-core mobile pertama untuk mencapai 1.4GHz tapi menurut Qualcomm juga mengkonsumsi power yang sama dari versi lebih rendahnya yaitu 1GHz CPU. Chipset tetap memanfaatkan GPU Adreno  205 .
Galaxy S Plus menjalankan iterasi terbaru dari Android yaitu versi 2.3 Gingerbread. Layar tetap berukuran 4-inci yang sama dari jenis Super AMOLED touchscreen kapasitif Konektivitas lengkap ada pada ponsel Android ini dengan adanya Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 3.0 dan GPS. Handset ini akan memiliki bandrol harga 781 $ / € 539) dan akan masuk Rusia pada bulan Mei 2011 nanti.
